Im putting VN setup on the Vk and need to know if i need the MAP sensor or not? I was told that i dont have to use it and to make the computer think it has one by getting an auto elec to wire it up so it thinks it does. Any ideas?? Cheers

it can be done i belive, kalmaker does it i think. it has nothing to do with the wiring, it's a programing thing. i wouldnt bother.

The ECM uses the MAP sensor to control fuel delivery and ignition timing.
Why would you want to try and bypass it when the wiring for it is in the VN engine loom already, and the connection to the manifold is one simple vacuum hose?
Seems a backwards st
