I have a VN commo that has had an attempted break in on the drivers door. The lock still accepts the key but won't turn. I had a look to see how hard it was to remove the handle etc but couldn't find out how?? anyone got some tips/tricks???

pull the door trim off. Then when you get to the back of the handle there is a long pin holding it all together. The handle is in 2 pieces and the pin ties it all together. The pin is quite long, about 3 inches. you cant miss it sitting on the back of

These handles are a real bugger to put back together.
Everything has to be just right....takes a lot of fiddling and frustration.
As the other post says....the handles are split in half...upper and lower sections with the "hairclip" pin holdin
