my car has started blowing the main power fuse, it runs for a while then the fuse blows. at $6 each its getting expensive and annoying.
a while ago I was told the alternator had sticking brushese and was not charging, but it seemed to come good. it has been standing for a few weeks now without being run, and now gives this problem. could it be that the brushes have stuck through not being used, and are causing an overcharge thus blowing the fuse?
thanks
