Hi all i am looking to buy a hq coupe wich has been stripped with no compliance plates or sub frame. The only info is a body no wich is 381, which seems a little odd. It is up the very top to the left hand side of where the throttle linkage bolts. Any help would be appreciated.
Also what roughly would it be worth, a stripped body with doors, diff and not much else. Had majority of rust cut out but not finished off and still needs soda/sand blasting and rust and panel work.

It'll be a Pagewood body. Will be a pretty early build too. That number is just a body number, it appeared in a few places in GMH literature one of them being the Production Broadcast sheet for the vehicle. It has no exact correlation to the original ID plates.

It isn't a hugely valuable thing, it'll cost a fortune to get all the glass, stainless, seats etc. Then it won't have ID plates which turns some people off. What it is good for is for someone who has a rusted out car as a donor shell. It is still worth something but do yourself a favour and price all the bits before you decide what it is worth. Make sure you check that it wasn't a 350 shell too.

TH400 speedo cable hole in the firewall for the LH entry into the box plus hole in passenger floor for bolt that supports the cable (auto only); OR

Additional hump in the tunnel adjacent to the shifter hole to accommodate the Hurst shifter and linkages. Similar to how A9X with super T10 was done. There should also be evidence of mechanical clutch crossover setup, not sure where to look for this though.
