so guys my question is how straight should the steering wheel be laying flat on a bench?should it have a bow from the natural timber or be dead flat?i just bought a supposedley nos wheel and just rocked up a bit bowey.

HK GTS wheels are not made of natural timber, just plastic to look like simulated walnut.
It should sit flat on a flat surface. A bit 'bowey' is generally from impact damage from an accident, (or rough installation/removal).
Is it the top of the wheel that is bent away from you if in driving position?

definitely should not have any sort of bow in it at all

unless it was a baargain price? id be contacting seller for reimbersment or refund!!!

i thought it shouldnt have a bow.thanks for the info and yes it cost me 350.so not happy

a new old stock wheel for $350 would of been ringing alarm bells to me...
