Hey guys have a 307 in my Hk prem, i know it only came out with a 6 but want to know what the numbers mean ?.
Its starting to blow a bit of smoke so was going to pull it out and just put in a spare 350 but didn't know if its worth keeping the 307 in the shed or just get rid of it
numbers are 307756** k0708
Thanks

Just get a 350 as the 307 are gutless.
All the aus 307 chev are the same thing just a truck motor not perfomance at all.

True, but put 4 barrel carby and manifold on and they are almost as quick as the 327. Mine has a Holley 600 and Weiand manifold, still has the stock cam and a nice 2.5" system. The 307 just needs to breathe.

If you are going to tip it, whack it on ebay for a low start price and it will sell, always someone looking for an engine in a particular engine number range.

It is an Adelaide 307 too which will help in the advertising.
