Hi Guys.

Another Ford nerd question, if anyone could help out.

The P6 LTD was announced in the media on 19 August 1976 & then went on sale towards the end of that month.

ADR27A engines were mandatory from 1 July, so is likely that any very late P5s got built with the XC 351 (ADR27A) engine in that narrow time frame ?

Or is it more likely given the low volume production of the LTD, that any built post 1 July, were just P6s stockpiled for their release date ?

Does anybody know of the existence of any P5 LTDs with a built date of July or August 1976, fitted with ADR27A engines ?

Dr Terry
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

I think it was only the first months of the ZH Fairlane's that were built with the 302 and 351 with the old 2 barrel carby on them before ADR27A.

P5 LTD had the 351 4 barrel only. 1 built in May 1976 and 3 in July Could be pre ADR27A
