I wrote a very long story about this and lost it. Twice.
Long story short.
Has anyone fixed a WB statesman mirror?
I need to secure cables to mirror backing plate. Cable stoppers. I am going to try using alu rivets. Take out the pin. Crimp th e rivet body to cable. Or glue. Dunno. any help appreciated.

EDIT: Here's a pic of the cable stoppers as fitted by Holden originally (one is already off).
