Hi all,
I'm sure I've read this before somewhere but can't seem to track the answer down. I've an HZ 1 tonner in the process of a loooonnnnggggg refit.Years ago I fitted power steering. I have heard there are different length outer steering arms the power steering needs to achieve the right ratio. Right now the steering feels excessively light and as its never had power steering before I suspect the present arms are too long. Can someone give me the lengths of the 2 types of arms so I can check.
Cheers

If it didn’t have power steer before it will have longer arms. You want HQ ones, or ones off a car with power steering.

Cool,
Thanks for that. Makes sense. I'll have to try and track down a pair of shorter ones.
Cheers
