have an eh special wagon 100% original jumps out of third gear when foot taken off accelerator have heard many theories on the matter thought i would try here -box rebuilt 3000 miles ago and was the same then as now.

Obviously not rebuilt properly. Take it back, thye have not fixed the problem you put it in for. But these boxes are dead easy to fix. Get a shop manual if you have no warranty.

SYNCHRO CONE IS GONE, IF YOU DECIDE TO PULL IT DOWN URSELF, TAKE A LOOK AT THE BRASS CONE, THE TEETH SHOULD B 4 SIDED WITH SQUARE EDGES, IF ITS WORN THE TEETH WILL B ROUNDED. IF THATS THE CASE THE CHEEPEST WAY WOULD BE TO GET A GOOD SECOND HAND UNIT OUT O
