Can anyone please advise on the type of double pulley that would be required, for 253 V8 on HG for power steering. Is it a one unit or 2 standard single pulleys with a spacer.

Set your pump up using the same bracket,spacers and crankshaft pulley as used on Hq-Wb V8s. The original Hg bracket are no good and keep cracking. You only use the double belt set up if you are going to have A/C hooked up and want it set up as original. T

Sorry I did not explain myself clearly, wot I need (I think) is a double V pulley on the crankshaft at present I only have a single V pulley that drives the water pump and alternater. I will be installing power steering which I have. The power steering th

Can't remember exactly for HT/HG, but HQ-WB are a single pulley for two or three row. On these models the rear spot is for the steer, the middle for water pump and alternator and the front for air. I think HT/HG are the same. Commodore are different, at l
