I would like to know what changes to the braking system would need to do if I was to fit a Ford nine inch disc brake into a WB V8 Tonner. The mounts have been changed but I would like to leave the rest as ford,(Axles,Disc, calipers, wheel studs)if this is possible? What park brake cables are used or do they need to be specially made and being that the Ford has leaf springs does the park brake lever clear the Holden leaf springs unlike the 10 bolt disc set up. All replys will be appreciated. Cheers Lee

I would advise the following, as I've seen it work:

XA-XC housing modified with Holden ends.

VN axles and disc brakes. Need modified handbrake cables.

VT master cylinder.

VT front discs and calipers with Hadfield kit.
