Hi all,

Just picked up a dual fuel 308/T400 HZ Prem on the weekend. She's a great car, but it has a really stiff acceleator pedal, in fact the plastic foot is broken due to the pressure that has to be exerted to get the car to go. I haven't got the tools out yet to have a look, but what would be the most likely problem? It runs the factory Quadrajet, has a throttle return spring but it isn't real severe. I'm thinking the cable must be tight, so I'd have to remove it from the carby to check that, I'm hoping it isn't the throttle body in the carby!! Has anyone else struck this problem?? If the cable is buggered, anyone got a good cable to sell to suit the V8? I'm planning to have a look tonight before the wife complains anymore!

Thanks

Peter

Problem solved, the cable was kinked. A little bit of lube and a straighten and she works fine once again!
