HOLDEN CLUBS INVITED TO EASTERN CREEK

HOLDEN drivers in the PROCAR Champ Series have invited members of all Holden clubs to take part in some special activities at the next round at Eastern Creek on Sunday 18 July.
One of the organisers of the day, Australian Production Car Championship competitor Derek Hocking, says a special area at Eastern Creek will be reserved for Holden owners to gather and display their cars.
Hocking will join with teammate Scott Loadsman - the current Production champion – touring car legend and Monaro driver Peter Brock and the Garry Rogers Motorsport team to ensure a great day out for Holden enthusiasts.
Planned highlights of the Eastern Creek Holden day include -
• Peter Brock will be helping and signing autographs
• Scott Loadsman will be giving away Holden motorsport videos Garry Rogers will be giving away promo packs
• The Club with the most cars presented will win hot-lap rides
• The best car presented will win hot laps with Derek Hocking in the 62# Commodore SS
• Prizes will be given for best performance modification
• Winners’ cars featured on SBS Speedweek
Entry to Eastern Creek on race day will be through the competitors’ gate at the rear of the track. Tickets will cost $15.00.
Clubs intending to take part must advise organiser Derek Hocking of the number of cars they intend to bring, so parking and pit access can be arranged.
