Just spotted a very visible comet coming back from a walk. Looks like a jet vapour trail. Off to the west, and south of Venus. Heaps more visible than Haley's comet in the late 80's.

Its called Comet McNaught It was discovered by an Aussie it aug 2006.Yet another newly found body in the sky.There is some imfo here http://www.space.com/spa...2_ns_comet_mcnaught.html
