Howdy Fastlaners.
Can anyone help with 2 problems that are driving me nuts. My 1989 VN Berlina sedan is in well above average condition but leaks lots of dust into the left side of the boot and all around the left rear quarter window and back seat when driving on dirt roads.
Also whenever it rains, water drips into the boot and saturates the carpet mat below and around the tail-lights and fills up the wells on the each side of the boot floor.
I would really like to get inside the boot with a torch and the lid closed and have somebody spray the outside with a hose but I'm a bit large in the gut department for that to happen.....so has anybody had a similar problem and can help me out please??
(....any replies about losing weight, you fat bastard probably won't help either!)

Hi R&G,
A VN I have had ! I cant comment about dust, but I found that rust was a real bad problem with my VN. If you take the boot seal off see if it is clean or rusty underneath..check for seam leaks as well.
Thh cabin I found had probs up front so

VN water leaks where do I start , I worked at GMH in the water test area for 9 months about 85% of VN`s leaked water in various spots , a few at the rear were around the rear quarter glass requiring removal of the mouldings to reseal, rear roof pillar to
