Strangest thing happenned to me the other day!
Driving the old Trimatic along and for some reason everytime I coasted and lifted the foot off accelerator, it kicked down to 2nd gear (no matter what speed I was doing?)
I am feeling there is something wrong but wondering what? it seems to be with Vacuum?? is it a common thing to happen?
Any help would be appreciated
Matt

Looking for Old Caravans!!!! especially 1950's ply ones! Thanks!

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks Dr Terry,
The other thing this trans does is it takes a fairly long time to engage reverse, fine in drive but it has to think about going backwards, is this common, easy to fix or toss away and start again?
