Im having probs with the gears in my hk prem. I cant always engage first gear, and often the linkages jam and i have to stop the car, go underneath give the linkages a hit and they free up. i was told these 3 on the tree set ups are temporamental, but i need to get it working. will a linkage bush kit from rarespares fix the problem? any help will be appreciated

HK 3 speed boxes have no synchro ring on first gear, meaning you more or less have to be stationary to downshift from 2nd or 3rd to 1st gear. HT and HG boxes gained this synchro ring during the model changes.
