any suggestions on supercharging the ol FJ grey donk and what brand would be suitable

It requires special planning when contemplating such an idea, not as simple as it may seem. Your really going to have to rebuild your whole entire engine, pistions will need to be low compression 7.0:1 or slightly higher, but no larger than 8.5:1 slugs an

One other thing to consider with a grey motor is that it only has 4 main bearing journals compared to a red motors 7 main journals which would make it heaps stronger before you even start project!!!!!

if it ain't broke we can improve it.

There was a blown FJ called FJ215 (rego plates) getting around the Newcastle show scene years ago. I think it had a small GM blower on it.
Unless you are blowing the grey for nostalgic reasons I reckon your best bet, if you are dead set on a supercharged
