I am just about to complete my first transaction on that site.

I only found it because I was looking for a rare item in google, and the auction popped up, so I registered & bid on i.

It is very similar to how ebay was 5-6 years ago - before all the

I'd like to trade on there my self but you need an NZ Bank Account. Which I have lear

The old sold.com.au site used to have a timer reset function that would give the listing anextra 5 minues if someone bid within the last minute.

These days ebay auctions sit silently - with a flurry of snipers going wild in the last 10 seconds.

I have found that also after doing ebay for about 4 years its not worth doing 7 day auctions as no one bids for the 1st few days and its all happens in the last few minutes, i think my next autions will be on for no more than 3 days .

There is also the type who do the "reserve the right...blah" and then end the listing a day short because it hasn't reached the expected price.

I believe Ebay should be stamping out this practice, as I won a steering wheel fair & square, but the little

so you think sellers should be forced to accept whatever the days market happens to bring, regardless? doesn't sound too fair to me. A seller has the right to end an auction at any time if the price isnt satisfactory - including the last 3 seconds.

well we can agree to disagree then, eBay rules state you can pull an auction if it is "no longer available for sale" ie this is at sellers discretion. The only rule where you are obligated to complete the sale is if the auction has run its course. There a

Too low price is not a legit reason to cancel the auction.

Ebay have reserve and starting bid price functions, but people do this to cheat the system and avoid the additional fee for having a reserve on it, and the higher fee (percentage) for the highe

i stand corrected on the reserve price pull then. thge stuff you are referring to about the buyer not paying, i am specifically referring to ended early auctions, not finished auctions with a winner. if there is a winner i agree both partys are obligated

These are the official eBay reasons you can give to end an item - so price is therefore a legit reason:

The item is no longer available for sale.
There was an error in the starting price or reserve amount.
There was an error in the listing.
The item
