Hi ALL..
I have picked up a HG GTS MONARO that is Indy Orange with black and Indy Orange trim it is a 80837 so i know it's a V8 but it has NO motor so how can i find out if it was a 253 or 308.??? the guy that i got it off told me it was a 308 but i would like to find out if it was...

Firstly check for auto or manual - looking for Saginaw hump is your best bet. If it's a Brisbane built car the body plate will say A or M.

If it's a manual look for the radius rod bracket holes in the rear wheel arches.

Also check for 12-bolt diff h
