Hi
Not my usual forum because i have an MGB. Very modified 4 cyl race car and i've just found out that the car is fitted with a shortened ford axle with a 9" diff. Not sure what it is out of though. The ratio must be low cause top speed is only approx 170km/h, about a 4.3. My problem is i need a new centre ratio of about 3.9, cause at Phillip Island i'm at top speed at the start of the straight! But as said I don't know about the axle. Are there many differeces between different ford axle fot the diff houseing? Any help would be great.
Thanks Adam

Contact this mob. http://www.quickperformance.com/index.htmThey used to have a really good write up describing virtually every difference with 9" rear ends but they appear to have removed it from their web site. Maybe they could email it to you. http |
