I just got myself a new/rather used HZ one tonna. Its a piece of crap at the moment, my pintara had more acceleration (which i sort of expected) and a top speed of 130 clicks. Can anyone give any suggestions as what to do to it first.

is it a 6 or 8? manual or auto?

I got my HZ sedan 12mths ago and have set aside 18-24mths to get the mechinicals perfect, then the interior, and lastly the body and paint.
So far it;s working to plan...ps sit down and list what you would like in the way of eng, trans & diff package...t

give the car a good service and tune, and go over the car as if you were giving it a roadworthy. Check everywhere for rust and if you find any stop it now, or the jobs just going to get bigger in the end. What are you going to use it for? work or play?
