im after info on ford 221 cranks. i wish to know what motors and model cars use these cranks as i need one for a holden red six stroker crank. And also what whould these cranks be roughly worth?

I knew they were in the old falcons. Couldn't remember what model so did a quick google search.

221 Cubic Inch (3.62 Litre)
1968 - 1970 . XT - XW Models
Type : Overhead Valve in line 6 cylinder .
Bore : 3.68 inch (93mm)
Stroke : 3.46 inch (88

Are you also aware that you have to cut the back off a Steel holden crank (not a cast iron one) & weld it onto the back of the steel Ford crank to stroke your red 6?

well there similar,the 250 had more main bearings compared to the 221 and more hp.you can fit a 250 2v head straight onto your 221 and make it go real hard.

yes any pre crossflow head will fit.crossflow will not fit.

Yes the Krogdahl <SP?> twin cam alloy head but they are not cheap.
