I have been told ny a Radiator Place that they would not fit Thermo fans to MY HG 253? Why not, what about Flexi Fans. Just want to get rid of the Standard Fan

take ur old fan off it drains a little power and
just install the thurmo fans ur self.
its not that had
just need some basic understanding on wat to do.
and if u not sure how to wire it up just install it
and then get ur local auto elec to do the

OK, I have seen Twin Fan set-ups around the place, these should keep it cooler.

It does go very well, will tow anything you put behind it, 600kg on the back and over a ton in the trailer

then just purrs up the road like nothing else.

Hey Do I need a Shroud ?

Rare Spares have them, but I can see that these did not come out as standard?

But may be helpful

it wouldnt hurt to put a shroud but its ur choice
thurmos should be just fine with out anyway

A trap to be avoided is to make sure which way the fans operate. Fit them in front of the radiator and they need to blow, on the engine side they need to suck.

Davies/Craig make great kits .. easy to follow instructions and work like a charm. On a 25

I have just finished fitting a EL Falcon twin thermo fans to my HZ 253 on the eng side of the radiator, works great. Before I had 2x 12" davies craig elec fans on the front (push) and a Flexi-Lite low profile 6 blade fan on the eng side with factory shrou

One thing I did was to use 40amp twin 87 terminal relays, one wire for the thermo fan power (+)and the other wire goes to a led light on my dash (x2) when the lights come on I know that the fans are on, and vise versa. This was very handy when one of my r

Any chance of getting the wiring diagram for your thermos.
Have purchased new thermos (EL) and jaycar kit.
But I have grabbed the wrong one from jaycar I think.
