I have a HZ 308 which i have just pulled a head off. There are no marks on the pistons so I assume it is still a virgin bore. The wrecker I got it off said it was a bit smoky but ran ok. There is very little ridge and there is not a lot of carboning so it may have had new rings at some time. I have not dropped the sump.
Looking for about $350, with manifold and water pump but no carby or fuel pump or distributor. I have a Mallories dual point distributor and coil available for a bit extra or sell separate.
It is Turbo pattern.

Yes I would take that price I have reduced it to $300 anyway. I won't go any lower tho would rather stick it back in the shed.
I have no idea what the weight would be I would hazard at least 150kg.
But thats a wild guess. Does anyone on here have an id

well i'm just after the core itself so pullin the heads and any other gear off would be sweet.so long as the price stays proportionate to whats there. i'll enquire about freight by rail and road today

Well if I have to strip it down and pack it and take it to the freight place I am not keen to reduce the price I have no use for the parts it would mean I would end up having to find someone to buy them. The heads are worth nothing I have thrown some out

Guarantee title I have receipts from the wreckers so its as good as their receipt, usually they are pretty good as the dealers branch keep

Well I used my digital calipers and got a reading of 3.971 or thereabouts, I guess there has to be an allowance for the lip, and of course can't really get the calipers in properly, but does that sound about right?
