Have to agree with Bryon on the searching for cars and parts for that matter.
I have been looking for a back seat for months, asked a mate of a mate got the seat and a GTS bonnet to boot.
I looked at least 13 HKTG Monaro’s before I found mine. Total pie

If you want that car two doors down.
Go to the bank get out as much cash as you are willing to spend on it. Slap it down and let the cash do the talking.
Best of luck.

Hi Mark,
Like you, I once owned an HK GTS Monaro, spent alot of money on it as well. I have now moved on, bought my dream car (79 Z/28 Camaro) and am very happy with it. I used to be told all those years ago when I had the Monaro - as an Apprentice by my

whether its a chev or holden engine is irrelivant they are both GM units, the grey 132.5 and 138 were based on the chev blueflame engine and take a look at a 250ci chev 6 looks like a big red holden 6.

Cloudy,
Can I ask why is it irrelevant?
Do you think the most sort after Monaros are the 161 or 186 engine models. Somehow I dont think so, sale prices obviously dictate that, and not what I think.

Ozchev my comments were not so much about monaro/chev engine values but just in general stating that chev`s are not the only good engine around , my Parisienne runs a 350 with type1 327 heads and goes like stink but my holden engines also go well ;)
