just wondering if anybody has a HK V8 10 bolt diff out there? i am restoring my HK GTS munro and would like the genuine diff if poss....im in perth WA...thanks

I have a few but they are not for sale. My favourite place to find them is in most 5 litre or bigger HK-HG. Some of these cars have 2.78 V8 banjos, but normally if you find a Prem or Brougham 307/308 they will have a 10-bolt, especially HT or HG. Keep loo

Mate had a HT Prem on the farm, 308,Powerglide. Last time I saw it the diff was still there, although I think it was minus the yoke. If interested, contact me At [email protected], and put "diff" as the subject.

at the risk of sounding daft, were powerglides put behind 308's? i thought they switched to trimatics when the 308 was released?

There were a few 'glides behind 308's From memory, the 253 and Trimatic debuted at the same time, the 308's were a bit later as GMH had the 307 Chev to run out.

The HT V8 and gearbox story is complex. When the HT was released the 308 debuted right at the start at the same time as the 253. The 308 was only available initially in the Brougham, and only ever with a Powerglide (for the whole of HT Brougham). For the
