Guys Where can I buy copper lead's ??? For my grey motor. Nothing fancy, just copper leads, with black outters. Need 6 plus one for the coil. Thanks Steve

I believe that they are now illegal in NSW at least due to them interfering with pacemakers or something that is why you may not be able to find any.

They can't that much illegal in NSW, I've recently registered and had a full pit inspection on my Camaro and it's using copper core leads. I made them myself.

The reason they don't use them is they give out a lot of radio interference as you drive along you are interfering with everyones radios and TVs. However copper core are a lot more efficient than the silicone or whatever they use on modern cars. I read a

Oh you can probably get them at one of the older established auto electricians, some parts places might have them, I would be surprised if a speed shop did not have them I think some of the drag people use them, you have to buy the lead by the metre and f

I bought a roll of multi-conductor copper core cable from an Electrical wholesaler, I guess you could say it's like jumper lead cable - then purchased the plug connectors, and insulation boots from local auto parts supplier. I don't have any suppressors f

I have a very old 4 cyl relic that runs copper. They usually came with 90 degree suppressors that were the spark plug connector.
They do pump out RF, but from what I heard was that in the early days of Police Radar, it used to jam the ++++ out of em.
