Wanted, great or better (NOS) set of 3.08 Crown Wheel and Pinion, bought a LSD diff for the wagon, and these parts of the set up are not so great! not to mention the yoke and housing! hehe - never buy sight unseen! lol
Have learnt my lesson

G'day Matt,I have a 3.08 centre in the shed, had it about 6 years in a wheat bag, condition unknown, must go look at it if your interested.

I dragged that centre out and it looks fine to my untrained eyes but i've a mate who knows his **** so i'll have him give it a suss to be sure it's good. if you want it, make an offer and if you don't, how much anyway as i'll try flogging it off and i dun

If Vintage Caravans doesn't want this diff centre in the end, then I would be interested in buying it. Out of curiousity, do you go by 'Puter Iliterate' on Oldholden.com?

I got it to town and had it checked by mechanic mate and he says the small gears inside (where the axle comes thru) have been run too hot, likely was run with low oil.
