Ifanyone can help i am looking at a lx ss hatch roller tommorow just wondering what numbers to look foor the guy says eng tag l31 gearbox m21 is there anything to look for for if it maybe a9x any advice would be appreciated cheers

By those numbers the car is an original 308 4spd car. A9x's didnt have anything on the compliance plates as such. Some had A9X stamped in red under the drivers seat from memory?

VIN code should start with: 8D77HTJ...X For an A9X the body no should be between J590973 and J598524. There should also be a single thermo fan with a temp switch near the radiator filler neck and an overflow bottle. The diff should be a large Edited by user Tuesday, 28 March 2006 8:50:45 PM(UTC)
