Got this wierd problem with my VR V6 where after is been driven on a long drive and you leave it sitting for say an hour afterwards, when you go to start it again.. It won't start. Car turns over, but there is no spark whatsover (tested this with a timing light).

Leave it for another hour and let it cool down and it starts and drives fine.

Extremely annoying. Anyone know what the problem is?

Or it could be your CAS (Crank angle sensor).

No spark when hot is the first sign of trouble.

When it won't start, try pouring 2L of cold water down the front of the motor (around the crank pulley area) and if that fixes the prob & lets it start, th
Cheers,

Mick
