I'm experiencing probs with Smartlock on my EB. Seems to be time or temperature related. Remote works fine when car hasn't run for a while. When car is "warm" the accessories relay seems to stick (fan runs when key is off and removed) and the Smartlock wont engage (light wont flash and the remote wont operate locks. After a long period (provided all accessories are turned off) the Smartlock starts operating again and remote works. If operated and the engine is only run momentarily there doesn't appear to be a problem giving me the impression that it is maybe computer temperature related. I have re-programmed the remote successfully and also battery off to reset the ECM. Any help appreciated.

I seem to remember in my Fuzzy memory when they were new one of the fixes was to leave the car standing with the ignition on for about 90 minutes to reset the Smartlock.

Unfortunately neither of the suggestions have worked on this one. Sounds like an Auto Elec'n job.
