If your car had an idiot light for temp before, you must change both the oil and temp senders. If it had an original Holden temp gauge before, you just need to change the oil pressure sender.

The tripple guage you mention was an optional guage for any HQ with the standard dash , GTS and Statesman did not use these as they had seperate small guages.

New gauge had fuel gauge, temp gauge, and oil gauges.

So I had to change the temp sender (same wire, simply change sender and re-a

Hi Jason.

That last idea is a good one, I use it on my cars.

The double adaptor, or T will only work with the oil senders. For the temp senders you have to have them both in the water flow, so you have to find an alternate 'hole' for the 2nd temp se
