hi just need 2 know i have 2 gts dashes 1 out of a 6 cyl and 1 out of 8 is there any diffrent to the wiring set up i know the gauges are a little diff eg.the 6 dash tacho has aneedle u can set for rev range and is in mph. the 8 dash is in mph and kms can the 6 go straight into 8 please help these are ht gts dashes

Hi htv8coupe.

The instrument assemblies are the same between 6 & V8, there should be a small switch to change the tacho from 6 to V8. All the gauges are the same.

The difference with the extra needle rev pointer is that HT have it & HG don't.

thanks for the info just 1 more Q were is this switch for the tacho 2 change it and do all gts dashes have it

The switch (from very vague memory) is down towards the bottom of the tacho, literally on the rear of the housing. It is just a little black slidebar with some serrations on it so you can hook your fingernail into them to change the tacho from 6 to 8 cyl

hi dave thanks 4 that i found it mines white and round and its marked it was a little hard 2 c but cleaned up now u can see it thankyou guys for your help
