Hey ppl..
Finally got to the fine tuning stage of me tonner..

Engine:
blue 253
red heads
4bb quaddy
extractors

Only got 108hp at wheels (80kw) which is not bad but
still got more to go carby needs to go back the guy didnt
adjust secondaries and few other things and my vacume advance on
the dizzy needs fixing still.

Does my power reading sound about right??
Is there any other little things i can do for bit extra performance.?

a well built motor could match the cubic inches to the hp figures ie a 350 cubic inch chev could well indeed have 350 hp going by this fact.. the stock 350 chev with cast heads and crank make around 290 hp so your 253 has a bit more going on for it i

hey, my blue 253, made what a standar 5ltr makes, was extremely happy. had the vary reco'd and adjusted, bloody made a hell of a difference. if you can tune the carby well enough, you dont get the delayed reaction when you open the secondaries up, its a m
