G'day gents,

My first post here as I'm not the normal Holden owner. I am restoring a 64 Series 2A SWB Land Rover with a Holden 186 transplant and will be stripping it down as part of the rebuild. I am doing some custom leaf springs for increased articulation and need to know the general weight of a 186 for my spring ratings ... can anyone help? Also can anyone recommend a book that details stripping and rebuilding a 186?

BTW* My first car was an FJ Holden - so I'm in the ball park.

Best, Simon.

An angle grinder in the hand ...
