hey guys, sadly i am wrting to inform you, that yes, there are still low life idiots about us. on thursday night, at Chadstone Myer, i finished work at 12:15am, and walked out to the carpark to find my car had been broken into. the bastards dinted the door to get the lock out, proceeded to rip out every wire possible under the dash, to try an hot wire it. thank god my alarm system would not allow this. so they decided to try and pinch my cd plaer, the idiots, shoved a screwdriver into the top of the cd player, but no luck there either. they tried using another holden key in my ignition, so in finishing, they screwed my ignition barrel, have wrecked my door, and all locks. ripped out my dash, ripped the surrounds off my cd player. now i have to replace all above, and get it re-wired. thank chrost my alarm stood up to them. serioulsy after a good run with cars, you think these idiots have disappeared, but be aware the low life $#!@ are still about us. very lucky to still have my vh, but christ the day i come across one of the idiots, i just dont know where it will stop. anyway, have a great day, and will speak again, Andrew

Hi Mate You are very lucky. It may not seem like it now when you have to replace panels and your dash, but at least you still have your car. Good on you for spending the money to get a good alarm not like many other people I know. http://www.myholde

The correct term is 'oxygen theives'. Trouble is if you caught them and let them have it you'd end up charged. Had a similar experience when two guys were trying to knock off my hatchback a while back now. I took a swing at one of them with a 4 foot Stils |

A mate of mine came back to his EH ute to find someone in it !
after slamming the pr**ks leg in the door and a brief tussle the guy took off.
His Alarm was well worth the $$ too.

I am firm believer in getting a DNA sample when they break into a car. Whether that be blood sample or skin. A sharp object hidden in lieu of a kill switch or where they expect one etc will surely catch a petty crim, and have evidence for the Police. if t

Hey Andy just read about the broken collarbone. It is the worst thing possible! You're so limited to what you can do, wouldn't you agree? Far worse then a broken arm.
