Hi Guys,

I need some help,or more to the point my husband needs some help, he has just spent all day trying to get the lifters out of his 202 red motor (with quite a lot of help from me I might add). The manual says they should just lift out of their holes but these ones just will not I repeat WILL NOT COME OUT!!! They seem to come up only about 1/4 inch or so and will not budge any further no matter how hard he pulls them, its not just 1 or 2 its all 12 of them! The reason I'm asking for help is that he is unbearable to live with till he works it out, and I know his temper, he will let fly in a rage if he cant fix it by Tuesday when he has to go back to work, and something on his nice car will get seriously dented or smashed. So PLEASE HELP. Thanks.
Mandy B.

Wow..how things get out of hand.

Are these things getting replaced or taken out to be put back in?
If they are getting replaced use a set of vice grips around the middle in the depression and a hammer to smack the vice grips up..if they still don't co
