I have finally got my HX Sandman Van to paint stage and have to decide on color in the next few days. I am trying to chase down some pictures of HX Vans in their original colors to help make this all important choice.

If anyone has a good picture of a Van (Sandman hopefully) in factory paint could they please email it to me at [email protected]. Perhaps if you post a reply stating which color you have sent it will avoid people doubling up.

I thought about using a flashy new color but decided original is best. I am particularly curious to see a Bordeaux Met. Van and a Royal Plum Met. Van but all colors appreciated.

Also - color suggestions gratefully considered.

Cheers

If it was a HQ I would go Barbados Green with Blackouts...but I think HX has Jamaica Lime or Mint Julip or something.

I painted mine Monaro flame red. Which is actually kind of an orange. It was a monaro colour about 3 or 4 years ago,and looks awesome I reckon. Nice warm seventies colour.
