I am havin trouble putting my mirrors back on the hq. is there a secret. doors have been assembled with new rubbers etc. I cant get my hand up under to get a nut on for the mirror bracket, if that makes sense

Hi edmundo.
The mirrors were originally fitted using nylon inserts that expanded in the mount holes as the screw gets tightened, if that makes sense.
You then don't need to put a nut from the inside of the panel.

thanks Dr Terry. i never new that about the inserts either. i knew the self tappers on their own wont last that long. i ended getting a hole saw and cutting two holes on the inside of my door.just like WB Stateman so i could get nuts on the little bolts.
