Question for those air experts
Are air con driers interchangeable? Can I fit say a VN one to a HQ or other make system?
I dpn't see why not but there may be some technical reason.
Why I ask is you see them come up on EBay for different makes like Mazda or Suzuki or ford and wonder if they can be used on other models.
thanks.

The sealing system (flare or O-ring) the thread size & pitch, and the dessicant type (to suit various gasses) are usually all different, so you don't really know if it will fit unless you can look at it & try the threads.

Actually I guess one way out is to have new hoses made up with the right ends, most times you have to anyway.

You are better off using one to suit that model they are very cheap to buy, around $10-$30. The problems u face using say a Vn one is it may not be a XH7 or XH9 dessicant type drier to suit R134a type gas. If u use a early model drier to suit R12 gas it
