Hey People!.. I've just purchased myself a 1985 Holden Rodeo 4X4 which I am contemplating doing a bit of a rebuild on. My main issue is the engine/tranny which is currently in it. I'm stuck with a good 'ole 2lt motor and 4 speed manual..

I'm wanting to know if anyone has any ideas for a good conversion for these 2 items. Keeping in mind i'm on a tight budget!.

Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks all!!..

Hi Matty.

Rebuilding & modifying some motors can get expensive & out of control very easily.

Bearing in mind how the Rodeo chassis remained unchanged for many years, why don't you get good a late 2.6 EFI & trans out of a mid 90s Rodeo & just convert
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
