I am Changing the front skirt tubs of the ute & would love to hear some advice on any tips on fitting them without scratching them .
The ones in the ute at the moment are ****ty black heaps of holes everyware . covered in old cracked ducks feet Proofcoat :(
I scored 2 good ones from my brother in law .He ownes ( Restorers hotline ( Rare parts ) and a Factory unit of everthing HQ - HZ
I picked the best left & right Tub & welded every un necessary hole up .Anyway they are done & they look awesome Shiny silver . I'll have to be real carefull fitting them . ???

Hi Rusty.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'front skirt tubs'.
If you mean the front inner guards, probably the only way to fit them without scratching them, would be to lift off the front clip, swap the inner guards & then refit the whole front clip a |

Yes i mean the front inner guards.
I was thinking of jacking up the front ,putting axel stands under the chassis then taking the wheels off then undoing the bolts . and taking the old ones out .
To fit the new painted inner guards i might carefully
