Hi Fellas, I need to store a second hand motor out of vehicle for about a year. What do I need to do to prevent corrosion? And what do I need to do when returning the motor to use?

The method I have used in the past is as follows (with engine yet to be removed from vehicle).
Do an oil change, putting in some good heavy duty stuff (heavyweight penzoil etc). Run or turn over briefly to get oil travelling through engine. Remove fu |

Good rundown Jabba.
Also, a good idea to back off all rockers so the valves aren't held open thereby compressing and weakening the valve springs over time.
