Hello ive taken out a transmission 3 speed auto from xd and ive well have fitted it to my 91 model xf panel van, all the bolts line up and ive screwed all the bolts on and its about half an inch where the trans just wont line up with engine. What I mean is the engine is not flush the trans.
Has any one done a change over and can help me get to the next step.

Something is not lined up. Did you slip the converter into the box & then bolt it to the flywheel? or did you leave the converter on the flywheel & just lift the box up to it?
If you did it the second way I would bet that you have not lined the slots i |

Thank you Jim I will give both a look, if its the second I will be back at upull it autos to pull another converter as I took the converter off an xf trans.
Also the reason im replacing the trans is I was taking off at the lights normally!! and just los
