Hi folks,

The old HQ foam is causing me grief in the lower back - ouch !

What modern seats line up with HQ rails if any ? I would like Holden seats of course !!!

If there are no known Holden seats that line up. What company in Sydney can firmup and re-upholster ?

THANKS !

Cheers Grandpa John (well thats how I feel !)

I fitted VH seats had to redrill 3 of the holes but the sle drivers side has a height adjustment, very comfortable I found.

By law if you change the seat mount points, they have to be engineered.
If it is old or rare - Cut it! http://www.ehlimo.com.au/

Hi All,

Thanks for the update.

The idea was to use a GMH seat and modify the HQ rails (via a hole here or there) so that I use the existing seat to floor mount points.

Cheers John

Try VK or VL seats on WB ute/van bucket seat rails.
Or buy a SAAS or Statos driver's seat, and make up your own rails to bolt into the existing holes.
