Hi,
If anyone has a dead quadrajet laying around that still has the little secondary lockout tang (on the driver's side of the carb between the primary and secondary, stops the secondaries from opening until the choke has fully opened), and they want to sell it, could they let me know.
If in Sydney I could pick it up, otherwise more than willing to pay postage and whatever you want for the part.

hi kev ive got a compleate quadrajet thats needs a kit i think it was on my 283 but i was not happy with it so i brought a new carbi if interested in the hole carbie give me a ring on 03 51527595 im in east gippsland vic
i do not want to strip it cheers

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated. My carb is relatively new, but I pulled the lockout off it a while back and have misplaced it. Have had a few probs with ignition in the last week which I thought were carb troubles, so have pulled th

no worrys if u get stuck give me a yell i have more bits n pices in a container some where there might b some thing i striped a few quadies just got to fined them.

Kev, i have a quad in bits out of my hz, you can have that as long as you take the two or three fuel pumps that came with it, im going on gas so dont need any of it.
