Hi all,

bought a wb a couple of weeks ago, notice that the oil pressure gauge dosen't work on the gts dash. rang the guy who use to own it and he said that the wrong oil sender unit was fitted. Does this sound right to anyone and if so were could a get a sender unit and is it easy to hook? It's a blue 253 if that's any help. cheers..

Hi brockyt.

Yes, that's quite possible, because the WB Commercial GTS dash uses the same sender as HJ/HX/HZ GTS etc. The spare parts guy probably give him a WB Statesman one which looks the same but is electrically different.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

The Statesman unit is the same as HR to HQ and VB to VK with oil gauge, they are available from rares spares.
