Howdy, The old girl is up for a new cam. Its a red 308 in a HG ute with the heads cleaned up & blue valves. As I can't afford the fuel now it's going to be a club car - what cam should I go with that will be the biggest I can match to these heads? At the moment it runs a standard KC dual-plane with a modified Holley 500. I'm also thinking about tunnel rams just for fun. Any ideas?

There have been a few good profiles developed for these. Have a look at Crane and Wade, plus Moe Engines are knowledgeable (www.moeengines.com.au). There was a good Crane grind developed for the Auscar racers. I'd get rid of the 500 Holley and put a Quadr |

Theres more to picking a cam than whats done to your engine. Is it auto or manual? If auto has it got a looser stall convertor? What diff ratio? Is fuel economy or performance a priority? Are you using stock rockers or rollers? Are they ajustable? What c
